United States Declaration of Independence

The Declaration of Independence was written by Thomas Jefferson in June 1776 and was signed on July 4th, 1776.[1] When signed, it established to the world and the British Empire that legally, the United States of America was a separate government, existing because the British Empire had violated the inalienable, Creator-given rights of the American people.
